What results can I expect from Live Your Truth on Video?
You can expect a finished video up on your website or blog, your new video pushing out to your list & connections on social media, and to learn the skills to create your videos on your own computer & using your own equipment.
Is Live Your Truth on Video for beginners or people who have made videos before?
This program is both for people who have never made a video, as well as those of you who have made a few videos but want to learn tips & strategies to make them better and more efficiently.
Is this program live or recorded?
All of the Live Your Truth on Video programs are primarily recorded & available on a password protected website. Occasionally we may have live video streams for bonuses, Q/A, or other purposes. Those will all be recorded.
Do the memberships/programs expire? I’m not planning to use video for a few days/weeks/months.
No, there is no expiration. Once you are in, you are in. I don’t have any plans to disband these programs, and at the very least the sites will be up until the end of 2011 (probably much longer).
Which of the programs is right for me?
In general, here’s how it breaks down. If you’ve never made a video before & are intimidated by the technology, the Quickstart is a great place to start. If you know you want to use video for your business/blog (whether you’ve made videos before or not), and you want to learn the strategy & technical stuff to make video, get the 4 Weeks to Video program (which includes the Quickstart too).
How is Live Your Truth on Video different than Build Your Tribe?
Build Your Tribe is a high level, comprehensive program of all the ways (strategy and tools) you can use to build your tribe (find & nurture your community). We do talk about video, but at a higher level. Live Your Truth on Video is *just* about video, and is the program if you know you want to use video and you need the strategy & technology knowledge for video, specifically.
Is the Quickstart the same one that was complementary a few months ago?
Yes, the Quickstart that I gave away for people who signed up with their name and email was so successful, with people using it to produce so much great video content, I fully realized its value and am now charging for that program.
How long will it take me to get through the program and create a video?
It really depends upon which you buy and how you run through it. With the Quickstart you can watch the tutorials and create/edit/post your video in one afternoon. With the 4 Weeks to Video program, people sometimes power through all the tutorials in one weekend (getting their video up in just a day or two), and others review them as-needed over a few weeks. .
What if I have questions? Do I get access to you?
Yes! You may ask questions via posting them to the password protected website, and I will answer you.
Do I have to already have a website?
No. Now, I would love if everyone in this program at least has a blog (even if you are using a free service, and we will show you resources to create a free, albeit temporary, site). But at the very least we will get your video hosted and ready to put on your website-to-come.
Do I need a fast computer and a good video camera?
You need a computer that you purchased new in the last 3 years, or you will be continuously frustrated by editing video. I will recommend video cameras that you can purchase (or you can use what you already have) – cameras typically cost between $100-200, depending upon sales and your location.
Does this cover both Mac and Windows programs?
Yes, I demonstrate on both iMovie & Windows Movie Maker. The advanced module on iMovie 09 is only for Macs.
Do I need high speed internet?
Yes, you need high speed internet to participate in the streaming video instruction sections, the chat sessions, and for you to be able to upload your videos to be hosted.
Do you offer a money back guarantee?
I don’t offer money-back guarantees on my programs because I’ve found it does all of us a disservice. I only want people to invest in my programs if they are ready to move forward in their business and are committed to change & implement the program.
